Wtf man, whenever I squat all the blood vessels on the right side of my neck explode and it looks like I have a horrible rash. It happened last time I squatted too, kinda makes me not want to squat.

On another note, My max is probably only about 455 right now based on how those squats felt.

Okay so my injuries have wrecked my programming but I feel fine now

The meet is 7 weeks from saturday so I have 6 heavy bench and 6/7 assistance bench sessions left. I think that is obviously too many to keep ramping and not enough for a max and reset...

I was just impervising,

you could do 7.5 lb jumps for 4 weeks up to 335x5 + repouts , and then 2x2 week 5, and x2 week 6

you could do + 10 + 10 + 5 + 5 if you want, but you would be better buying 1.25 lb plates imo.

if you cant buy them, you can definetely impervise by throwing something that weighs 1.25 lbs on each side

lulz at fatigue. prolly had 3 more on both, but they felt really bad and I had no spot

thoughts

didnt go as heavy as I would have liked today. the weight began to feel very shaky at 285. They weren't particularly difficult sets, but they all were very woobley and pretty much muscled up.

Got too much sleep last night (11.5 hours), thats probably why. Was hoping to do this day with 335, but it would have driven the intensity too high.

I have been in a terrible frame of mind as of lately, and this has to be the biggest mind phuck I have ever had.

I had an intuition (albeit a random non nonsensical one) that if I could do 455 for 3 good reps today that I would be mentally able to handle my responsibilities going forward. I choose 455 because I didn't think I would even be able to get it for 1 one rep, and my warm ups felt pretty bad. I wind up missing the 3rd rep about an inch off my sticking point, and only because the bar bent too much for me to stay tight.

I haven't gotten anywhere near this weight in forever, not sure how to interpret this.
